I Will Walk

Updated: May 18

I will walk where the pavement hums, where city lights flicker like tired drums.

Through alley echoes and sirens' wail, where stories breathe in the subway stale.

I will step where the lost ones roam, where love is carved in concrete stone.

Neon reflections paint my face, shadows dance in reckless grace.

I will stand when the cold wind bites, shoulders squared against the fights.

Feet on asphalt, heart on fire,

chasing dreams strung on a wire.

I will wait where the echoes fade, where hope is bent but never swayed.

For every song, for every name, for every heart that beats the same.
